There are different home for the aged institutions in the Philippines and while some of them are private, some are government managed. One of the most popular however among home for the aged Philippines institutions is the Golden Acres and Kanlungan ni Maria.
Yearly and regularly, these nursing home establishments take in volunteers and volunteer services and open their doors to people who are willing to spend a day or two with the old people and elderly. With respect to admitting old people for care, I am not so sure what the procedures are or how to admit nursing home customers and clients.
